Why The Mahalani?
The Mahalani is an oasis in north Bali, right on a beautiful, clean black sand beach, far away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas in the south. I first experienced The Mahalani as a guest. When I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly staff with some delicious tropical juice. While the staff whisked my bags away to my room, I made my way through the villa, drawn to the ocean by the views.
Immediately, the stress I was carrying from work and travel all melted away. I spent my trip eating delicious food (prepared by Ketut, the Mahalani chef), exploring Bali under the guidance of the Mahalani's amazing drivers, and spending at least a little time every day in the sea.
It was so magical that, almost three years to the day of my trip, I bought the resort to share the magic of the Mahalani with as many people as possible.
We host amazing groups for everything from corporate retreats, family reunions, destination weddings, and more. The property is gorgeous, but there are other beautiful properties in the world. The magic of the Mahalani is all about the staff. They show up to work with their whole heart and focus all of their efforts on making sure the guests are delighted every day of their trip.

The Mahalani is set in a serene, tropical paradise with lush gardens, clear waters, and vast open skies. The Mahalani, with its three luxury villas, is nestled in Bondalem, Tejakula, Bali, right on the clean black sand beaches of North Bali. It is a place where culture, culinary delights, and calm all come together, with its heart beating to the rhythm of traditional music. A place where time stands still and relaxation and transformation is possible. It's a destination for people to find solace from the world's chaos amidst laid-back luxury in its most authentic and purest form.
The Mahalani's three gorgeous villas (Villa Barat, Villa Timur, and Villa Kala) have a total of ten bedrooms and 9 bathrooms to sleep up to 22. With over an acre of lush tropical gardens, 50 meters of ocean frontage, and two pools, we are ready to host your destination wedding, honeymoon, birthday, family reunion, corporate or other group retreat. Corporate and business travelers, teenagers, influencers, and anyone else who wants to stay connected during their stay, can enjoy high-speed internet all the way to the beach.
